Grazia

Grazia

The Arabic name of the district was “Naubiccibbib”… today is commonly (and easily) called “Grazia”!

The district that gives its name to the valley is called Madonna delle Grazie (Our Lady of Grace). The church present in the main square of the district take her name and she’s become the Patron Saint of the district itself.
The “contrada” (or district) today is inhabited by a number of islanders and is characterized by the many terraces, many of which are still cultivated.

The valley slopes gently down to the coast of Suvaky which is on of the most accessible swimming place of the entire coast.
