Scauri

Scauri

The western side village, gaze towards Africa coastline and red sunsets…

“Scauro” from the greek: stopover place of landing. Well-known, in fact, for its picturesque harbor; inhabited since ancient times the village housed a factory where they were produced large quantities of terracotta pots and pans that were exported everywhere along the Mediterranean basin. Today Scauri is a peaceful village, with its restaurants, shops of various kinds and has become the point of reference in the western part of the island.
